Abhishek Saha is a Professor of Mathematics and REF and Reputation Lead at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Queen Mary University of London. His academic career is focused on number theory and automorphic forms, with significant contributions to the study of Siegel modular forms, L-functions, and related areas. He has secured multiple research grants from prestigious funding bodies including the EPSRC and Leverhulme Trust, supporting his work on Fourier coefficients, periods, and L-functions.
Professor Saha's primary research interests lie in number theory and automorphic forms. His work specifically focuses on Siegel modular forms, L-functions, Fourier coefficients, and their applications in arithmetic geometry. His research has explored the connections between automorphic representations and number-theoretic objects, with particular attention to the analytic properties of L-functions and the arithmetic significance of Fourier coefficients of modular forms.

He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of the London Mathematical Society (JLMS) and the Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society (BLMS).
Active in academic governance and policy discussions, Professor Saha is a founder member of the London Universities' Council for Academic Freedom and a founding member of the Academics for Academic Freedom branch at QMUL.
