Tim Chico

Professor Tim Chico is a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Sheffield and an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He leads the Smartphone and Wearable data theme at the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre and directs the South Yorkshire EPSRC Digital Health Hub. His research focuses on leveraging health data from digital devices (smartphones, wearables) to improve cardiovascular care, alongside studies in zebrafish models for vascular biology and atherosclerosis.
