Tim Bale is Professor of Politics at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with the School of Politics and International Relations. His academic journey began at Cambridge, continued with an MA at Northwestern University (USA), and culminated in a PhD at the Department of Politics, Sheffield University. After teaching at Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand) and Sussex University (UK), he joined Queen Mary. Bale has received notable awards, including the Bernard Crick Prize for Outstanding Teaching (2008) and the W.J.M. MacKenzie Prize (2011) for his book on the Conservative Party.
