Tiffiny Sia is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Texas Lutheran University. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with Social emphasis from Texas Christian University (1996), an M.S. in the same field from TCU (1993), and a B.A. in Psychology with a Philosophy minor from Linfield College (1990). Her research integrates social and cognitive psychology, focusing on intergroup dynamics, stereotyping, and human behavior in digital environments.
She has led multiple funded projects, including a Faculty/Student summer research grant (2014) examining online interactions, a pedagogy grant comparing undergraduate research methods, and a course-development grant for Social Entrepreneurship concentrations. Her mentorship spans over 40 students, resulting in extensive conference presentations at venues like the Southwestern Psychological Association.
Her sole publication—a book chapter on cognitive psychology pedagogy—has been included in all editions of The TLU Reader since 2011, emphasizing critical thinking education.
