Professor Tiffiny Sia is a Psychology faculty member at Texas Lutheran University (TLU). She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Texas Christian University (1996), an M.S. in Experimental Psychology (1993), and a B.A. in Psychology with a Philosophy minor from Linfield College (1990). Her research focuses on cognitive psychology, social behavior, and educational pedagogy, particularly in areas like technology impact on cognition, gender studies, and undergraduate research methods.
Dr. Sia has secured multiple grants including a 2014 Faculty Development Grant for conference attendance and a 2014 Faculty/Student Summer Research Grant. She co-authored numerous presentations with students at conferences such as the Southwestern Psychological Association, exploring topics like cognitive stimulation across age groups, face-ism in relationships, and chat roulette behavior analysis.
