Tiffany Tettero

Tiffany Tettero is a Doctoral Researcher affiliated with Leiden University and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law. She is part of the CRIMETIME project, an ERC-funded research initiative focused on behavioral interventions for future orientation in offenders.

Her research bridges criminology and behavioral technology, emphasizing:

• Virtual Reality and smartphone app applications
• Longitudinal analysis of self-defeating behaviors
• Intervention development for offender rehabilitation

She contributes to the FutureU project, a collaboration with the Dutch Probation Service that leverages cutting-edge technologies to reduce procrastination and enhance future-orientedness.
