Tien Hong Vu is an Assistant Professor at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Kansas. His research leverages computational methods to address challenges faced by underserved communities, particularly refugees and immigrants, through digital technology interventions. He collaborates extensively with community organizations including Kansas City's Kansas Public Library and Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.
His research interests include:
