Tiara Anice Okoruwa

Dr. Tiara Anice Okoruwa is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTA, an MSW from the University of Maryland-Baltimore, and a BSW from Rutgers University. Her research focuses on social work faculty preparedness, controversial classroom discussions, maternal mental health, and qualitative methodology. She teaches courses on social work professionalism, intimate partner violence, and diverse populations.
