Tiao-Guan Huang is a Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Hamilton University. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language from National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan, and holds a B.A. from National Taiwan University. Huang has previously taught Chinese at DePauw University, Indiana University's summer school, Middlebury College's summer school, and in Taiwan.

Her research and teaching interests center on Chinese grammar, grammar pedagogy, pragmatics, semantics, learning and teaching strategies, and curriculum design. These areas reflect her focus on both theoretical and applied aspects of Chinese language education.
The available publications span topics such as measure phrase acquisition, impoliteness in online discourse, and technology-enhanced language learning. These works highlight her contributions to understanding linguistic challenges faced by Korean learners of Chinese and the development of digital pedagogical tools.
