Tianlu Zhang is a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she teaches Chinese language courses and supervises graduate teaching assistants. She holds an M.A. in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language and a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition from the University of Iowa.
Her research focuses on:
- Reading and writing skill development in L2 Chinese
- Task-based language teaching methodologies
- Technology-enhanced pedagogy in language education
She has extensive teaching experience across universities and summer programs in both the United States and China.
