معرفی
Dr. Thuy Linh Tran is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Physics and the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) at the University of Wollongong (UOW). She leads microdosimetry research in proton therapy, heavy-ion therapy, and space radiation, coordinating international collaborations. Her work focuses on radiation detectors, RBE assessment, and Monte Carlo simulations. Dr. Tran has secured over $4M in funding from NHMRC, ARC, and ESA, and holds grants like the Cancer Institute NSW Career Development Fellowship (2022–2025).
- Research Interests: Semiconductor microdosimetry, proton therapy optimization, space radiation shielding, and radiobiological models.
- Awards: AAPM Farrington Daniels Award (2018), UOW Impact Maker (2019), Dame Bridget Ogilvie Award (2021), and IEEE Glenn Knoll Postdoctoral Award (2022).
Her 69+ peer-reviewed publications span radiation therapy dosimetry, detector development, and space radiation studies. Dr. Tran supervises PhD and Master’s students in radiation physics and teaches courses like Radiation Physics. She contributes to journal reviewing and holds IEEE and European Society for Radiotherapy memberships.
