Thrasos Mallourides

Thrasos Mallourides is a Visiting Lecturer at Neapolis University of Cyprus and currently serves in a senior role at the Tax Office of the Cypriot government. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Warwick University (2003) and has extensive professional experience in audit, tax planning, and fraud examination. His career includes roles as a Principle Auditor at the Audit Service of Co-operative Societies and with KPMG. He has specialized in tax investigations and internal control consulting for various organizations.

Since 2015, he has held a senior position in the Tax Office, focusing on public sector taxation and compliance. Academically, he has been a Tutor for ACCA Papers for over a decade, specializing in Tax, Financial Reporting, and Auditing. He joined the marking team for ACCA’s Advanced Taxation P6 in 2018. His expertise bridges practical taxation and auditing with academic instruction.
