معرفی
Thomas Zdyrski is an Instructor of Applied and Computational Mathematics at Dartmouth College. His research focuses on theoretical nonlinear dynamical systems, including electron soliton hydrodynamics in graphene and nearshore wind-wave interactions. He has contributed to understanding wave shape evolution under wind influence across varying water depths, as well as dissipative effects on solitons in condensed matter systems.
Key publications explore wind-induced changes in shoaling surface gravity waves (2022), shallow water wave dynamics (2021), and graphene soliton behavior (2019). His work bridges fluid dynamics with geophysical and materials science applications.
- Affiliations: Postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth College (current role)
- Presentations: Active presenter at American Physical Society-Division of Fluid Dynamics conferences (2018–2021)
His research is supported by the Simons Foundation and member institutions. Collaborations include work with Falk Feddersen and John McGreevy on interdisciplinary fluid dynamics problems.
