Thomas Witten

Thomas Witten is the Homer J. Livingston Professor in Physics at the University of Chicago, affiliated with the James Franck Institute and the College. He specializes in theoretical physics, focusing on polymers, complex fluids, and aggregation phenomena. His work explores mathematical laws governing unconventional materials. Witten has authored notable publications like Structured Fluids: Polymers, Colloids, Surfactants (2004).
