Thomas Wang

Thomas Wang is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, serving as Physician-in-Chief of Clements University Hospital. He previously directed the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and held faculty roles at Harvard Medical School, advancing from Assistant to Associate Professor. His research focuses on preclinical cardiovascular disease, obesity, and metabolism, with over $44 million in grant funding and five patents. He holds the Donald W.
