Thomas Schalch is an Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of Leicester. He is an active member of the Chemistry of Life research theme at LINXS (Lund Institute of Advanced Neutron and X-ray Science), where he contributes to Working Group 1 focused on "Structure, function and dynamics of macromolecular complexes".
His research explores:
- Structural organization of biological macromolecules
- Functional mechanisms in cellular systems
- Dynamic behavior of protein complexes
He holds a LINXS Fellowship recognizing his contributions to interdisciplinary neutron and X-ray science.
