معرفی
Thomas Sand Jespersen is a Professor in the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research focuses on functional oxides, with expertise in spin phenomena, quantum effects, and oxide heterostructures. He has supervised multiple PhD students in advanced materials research projects.
Research Interests:
His work explores bio-magnetometer development, spin-charge conversion, electronic properties of correlated oxides, and quantum Hall effects. Projects often involve optimizing carrier mobility and interface properties in materials like ?-Al2O3/SrTiO3.
Grants & Projects:
- Oxide freestanding film for ultra-sensitive bio-magnetometers (2022–2025)
- Spin and quantum phenomena in high-mobility interfaces (2021–2025)
- Electrical properties of correlated electron systems (2015–2020)
- Quantum and field effects of oxide heterostructures (2013–2016)
Advising: Supervised four PhD students on topics including magnetometry, spin phenomena, and oxide heterostructures. Collaborators include Niels Pryds, Frederik Trier, and Yurii Chen.
