Thomas Rossbach

Thomas Rossbach is a Lecturer in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Indiana University's School of Science. His research focuses on Late Devonian extinction events, stratigraphy, and paleoenvironmental analysis in the Appalachian Basin. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Research interests center on Devonian period geology, paleontological evidence of environmental shifts, and innovative geoscience education methods for K-12 students. Publications demonstrate consistent focus on Appalachian Basin stratigraphy and educational outreach.
