Thomas Ricketts

Thomas Ricketts is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Philosophy, having joined in 2005. Previously, he held positions at Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University. His research focuses on the development of Analytic Philosophy, with emphasis on figures like Frege, Russell, Wittgenstein, Carnap, and Quine. Ricketts examines foundational issues in logic, language, and metaphysics, particularly through the lens of early 20th-century thinkers.
