Thomas Pogge is the Leitner Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Political Science at Yale University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. His work focuses on global justice, poverty eradication, and healthcare ethics. He leads the Yale Global Justice Program and has advised international organizations on structural reforms. Pogge's research critiques global economic systems that perpetuate inequality, advocating for institutional redesign to align with human rights principles.
Key areas of expertise include Kantian ethics, pharmaceutical patent reform, and climate justice. His recent work addresses ecological impact funds, pandemic equity, and COP28 reforms. Pogge has published extensively, with major works like *Global Tax Fairness* (Oxford UP 2016) and *Freedom from Poverty as a Human Right* (Oxford UP 2007).
