Thomas Oliver is Professor of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, with affiliations in the La Follette School of Public Affairs and Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.
His research examines health politics, policy reform, and the role of social capital in health outcomes, with current focus on Medicare managed care, China's primary care system, and COVID-19 impacts on mental health.
