Associate Professor Thomas Newsome is part of the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at The University of Sydney. His research focuses on global ecology, conservation biology, and the impacts of climate change. He leads projects on rewilding, scavenging ecology, invasive species management, and biodiversity conservation. Newsome has held roles including Senior Lecturer (2021), Lecturer (2018), and postdoctoral fellowships.
