Thomas Neumann

Thomas Neumann is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the Department of Law, Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. He chairs the research group CLEAR, focusing on crowdfunding legal aspects. Neumann serves as editor-in-chief of the Nordic Journal of Commercial Law (2016-2025) and has held leadership roles including Head of Research (2019-2021) and Head of Doctoral Education in Law (2018-2022). His research spans crowdfunding regulation, international sales law, contract law, and law-technology intersections.

Education: PhD in Law from Aarhus School of Business (2011), with a dissertation on Article 80 CISG. Additional qualifications include Master of Laws.
