Thomas Mazzoni serves as Full Professor and Head of the Chair of Business Administration and Finance, especially Corporate Valuation at the University of Greifswald's Faculty of Law and Economics. His office is located in Room 319 at Friedrich-Loeffler-Straße 70, Greifswald.
Professor Mazzoni's research focuses on quantitative finance, risk management, and corporate valuation. He has developed innovative teaching approaches including stereoscopic visualization techniques that allow 3D representation of complex financial concepts without special equipment. His integrated teaching methodology connects complete market architecture with portfolio theory, derivative pricing, and fixed income products while incorporating perspectives from utility theory, financial economics, and behavioral finance.
His recent publication trends show a strong emphasis on quantitative finance education, with particular attention to visual learning methods and practical applications in portfolio management and risk assessment.
