Bingxin Li

Bingxin Li is an Associate Professor of Finance and the Finance Ph.D. Program Coordinator at West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics. She is also a faculty member of the Center for Innovation in Gas Research and Utilization at WVU, contributing to interdisciplinary energy research initiatives.

Her research spans key areas in modern finance, with a focus on empirical asset pricing, pricing models of financial derivatives, financial risk management, and energy finance. Her interdisciplinary background in physics enhances her quantitative approach to financial modeling and data analysis.

Dr. Li teaches a Ph.D.-level course in Asset Pricing and undergraduate courses including Derivatives, Investments, Financial Risk Management, and Energy Financial Economics, demonstrating her strong commitment to finance education at all levels.

Her scholarly work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, The Financial Review, Energy Economics, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and Journal of Commodity Markets, reflecting a consistent contribution to both financial and energy economics literature.
