Fousseni Chabi-Yo is the Berthiaume Endowed Professor in Business Administration and Chair of the Finance Department at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Montreal (2005) and multiple advanced degrees in Mathematics and Economics from universities in Senegal and Benin. His academic journey includes roles at the Bank of Canada (2004-2008) and the Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University (2008-2016).

- Financial Econometrics
- Behavioral Finance
Teaching includes PhD-level courses and graduate classes on Investment, Risk Management, and Financial Econometrics. He co-leads the Isenberg Finance PhD program and organizes the annual Isenberg Finance Conference. Fluent in English, French, and multiple African languages, he serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Banking and Finance.
