Thomas Mays is a Professor of History at Cal Poly Humboldt. He joined the institution in 2003 after teaching at Quincy University in Illinois. He retired from the military after 25 years of active duty and reserves. His expertise spans early American history, with a focus on the Revolutionary and Civil War eras.
