Prof. Dr. Thomas Markus Ihn is a Professor at ETH Zurich's Department of Physics, affiliated with the Solid State Physics Laboratory. He holds the Venia Legendi (habilitation) in experimental physics and has been a leading researcher in quantum states and nanostructure electronics. His academic journey includes studies and a PhD at TU Munich, postdoctoral work at the University of Nottingham, and a long-term affiliation with ETH Zurich since 1997.
