Andrej Pustogow is an Associate Professor at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna), affiliated with the Faculty of Physics and the Institute of Solid State Physics. He leads the research group "Tuning Charge and Spin of Correlated Electrons" within the Functional and Magnetic Materials research area (E138-03). His academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, a Master's in Physics of New Materials from ETH Zurich, and a PhD in Experimental Solid State Physics from the University of Stuttgart (2017). After postdoctoral work at the University of Stuttgart and UCLA, he joined TU Vienna in 2020 on a tenure track, transitioning to Associate Professor in 2025.
