Dr. Thomas Maloney is Professor of Philosophy and Distinguished Teaching Professor at University of Louisville. Specializing in medieval philosophy, he teaches courses in ancient Greek philosophy and philosophy of religion while focusing research on medieval logic and semantics.
Current research involves editing and translating works of Roger Bacon, particularly the Compendium studii philosophiae and moral philosophy sections of the Opus maius.
Publications include annotated translations of significant medieval philosophical texts with critical commentary.
