Thomas Longden

Dr. Thomas Longden is a Visiting Fellow at ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions and Senior Research Fellow at Western Sydney University. He holds a PhD in environmental economics from UNSW and was a Contributing Author to the IPCC AR5 WGIII report on Climate Change Mitigation.

Research focuses on environment and resource economics, health economics, and policy analysis for climate and energy transitions. Current projects include:

• Hydrogen Fuels development
• Renewable Energy Policy in Asia-Pacific
• Indigenous engagement with renewable energy industries
