Thomas Lemcke

Dr. Thomas Lemcke serves as a Working Group Leader at the Institute of Pharmacy, Department of Chemistry, within the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences at the University of Hamburg. His research focuses on molecular modeling and medicinal chemistry with particular emphasis on understanding protein-ligand interactions for drug development.

His educational background includes pharmacist specialization in pharmaceutical analysis, and he serves as a Student Advisory Officer for pharmacy students.

Dr. Lemcke's research interests center on structure-based drug design, particularly investigating molecular mechanisms of protein-ligand interactions to identify structure-activity relationships and resistance mechanisms.
