Dr. Thomas Joyce is an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Law at Tilburg Law School (Department of Criminal Law), Tilburg University. His research focuses on cybercrime, darknet drug markets, and criminal policy. He holds a PhD in Criminology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where his work examined drugs and cybercrime intersections. Joyce has led EU proposal development for Transcrime and served as Managing Editor of the European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research. He has taught and researched across Europe and Japan.
