Dr. Thomas J. Metallo is a Professor of Government at Liberty University's Helms School of Government, with office hours available by appointment. He previously served as a missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Central America and is fluent in Spanish. He teaches a summer course on the Politics of Latin America in Antigua and serves as faculty advisor for Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.

His research also explores U.S. constitutional foundations, Marxist theory, and geopolitical shifts involving China.
