Prof. Dr. Thomas Häcker is a W3 Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Rostock, holding the chair for Educational Science with Special Consideration of School Pedagogy and Empirical Educational Research. He served as the founding director of the Centre for Teacher Education and Educational Research at the University of Rostock (ZLB) from April 2008 to November 2012 and currently directs the Institute for School Pedagogy and Educational Research.
