Thomas Hawke

Thomas Hawke is a Professor in the Department of Pathology & Molecular Medicine at McMaster University's Faculty of Health Sciences. He leads the Hawke Lab, which focuses on skeletal muscle research, investigating how skeletal muscle maintains metabolic function and physical capacities in response to various stressors including exercise, disease, and pharmacological interventions.

Dr. Hawke completed his H.B.Sc. (1989-1994), M.Sc. (1994-1996), and Ph.D. (1996-2000) at the University of Guelph, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (2000-2003).
