Thomas H. Davenport is the Bodily Centennial Professor of Analytics at the Darden Business School, University of Virginia; President’s Distinguished Professor of Information Technology and Management at Babson College; Senior Advisor to Deloitte’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer Program; and a lecturer and Fellow of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. His work has redefined the role of analytics in competitive strategy, beginning with his seminal 2006 Harvard Business Review article and 2007 book Competing on Analytics.
