Thomas Gehrig

Thomas Gehrig is a Professor of Finance at the University of Vienna, affiliated with the Department of Finance within the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Statistics. He holds honorary doctorates and is a Research Fellow at prominent institutions like the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the Systemic Risk Centre (LSE). His research focuses on financial intermediation, banking regulation, market microstructure, and systemic risk, with notable contributions to understanding liquidity provision and ESG impacts on bank resilience.
