He holds a position in the College of Arts + Architecture (COAA) and leads research and pedagogical initiatives merging architecture, media, and urban studies. His Honors Faculty term extends until June 30, 2026.
His creative practice, Ciotat Studio, focuses on architectural design, experimental video, and media installations. His teaching emphasizes foundation-level pedagogy, integrating projective drawing, video-making, and writing to prepare students for contemporary practice. Research interests include urban public spaces, media depictions of cities, and the historical interplay between cinema and urban development, as detailed in his book *The Construction of Drawings and Movies* (Routledge, 2013).
Recent works like *The Scale of the City* (2023 finalist, Transfer Awards) and *Linear City I* (2021 finalist) explore urban scales, grids, and socio-spatial dynamics. His 2024 *Journal of Urban History* essay on the New York Subway’s track networks highlights interdisciplinary scholarship. Awards include recognition at international festivals and academic journals.
Forget’s practice bridges experimental film and academic research, advancing video-based scholarship. His work is exhibited globally, including at the Festival Écrans Urbains (2024).
