Thomas Burritt is a Professor of Percussion and Director of Percussion Studies at the Butler School of Music, University of Texas at Austin. He also serves as Associate Director of the Butler School of Music, Director of the Percussion Ensemble, and Area Counselor for Percussion. His performances include acclaimed solo recordings such as All Times Identical (2006) and Groundlines, as well as Grammy-nominated works with Conspirare and Pablo Neruda projects. Burritt is a prominent figure in contemporary percussion performance and chamber music, endorsed by major percussion brands.
