Dr Thomas Britten is a Lecturer in Medicinal & Organic Chemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University, specializing in developing synthetic methodologies for drug discovery. His research focuses on green chemistry, flow/photochemistry, and sustainable synthesis. He collaborates across disciplines to advance antibacterial therapeutics and targeted protein degradation.
Education: PhD in Chemistry (Lancaster University, 2015-2019), MChem (Bangor University, 2011-2015). Awards include the SCI Liverpool & NW Regional Group Award and AMRI MChem Prize.
