Thomas Aregger is a Lecturer and Head of the Art Foundation Course at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art (part of HSLU). He holds a Fine Arts degree from the Lucerne School of Art and Design (1996) and co-founded the exhibition space Erfrischungsraum. His work spans freelance art practice, with exhibitions in Lucerne and surrounding areas, and pedagogical innovation through Problem-Based Learning (PBL). He taught PBL at the University of Teacher Education, Lucerne (PHLU, 2007–2011) and has led the Art Foundation Course since 2006.
