Thomas Allen Harris is a Senior Lecturer in African American Studies and Film & Media Studies at Yale University, where he teaches courses on family narratives and archive aesthetics. Previously, he held a tenured position as Associate Professor of Media Arts at the University of California, San Diego. His work bridges documentary film, participatory art, and community storytelling, focusing on themes of identity, race, and archival reclamation.
