Thomas Adam Sowa is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and their Didactics within the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Economics and Computer Science at the University of Hildesheim. He combines his academic role with executive positions as Chief Executive Officer of GARANT Worldwide International S.A., Chief Financial Officer of Konzept Haus Collective GmbH (a B2B Corporate Venture of the GARANT Group), and CFO of Garant Global Franchise Partnership S.à.r.l. in Luxembourg.
His professional expertise spans Corporate Finance & Business Development, with prior roles at Thalia Buch & Medien GmbH (2013-2021) and mfi-Management für Immobilien AG (2010-2013). He also founded the Agency of Creative Working GbR (2001-2004) and a fashion label in Singapore. As a mentor, he actively supports the Aufsteiger Organization (since 2021) and advocates for barrier-free communication for the hearing impaired.
His research focuses on entrepreneurship education, aligning with his doctoral studies at the University of Hildesheim. He contributes to the KET Gründungsförderung 2.0 initiative (2025-2028) and participates in the Fachkonferenz 2025. His academic work is associated with the WE-Did Discussion Paper Series.
