Thilo M. Fuchs

Prof. Dr. Thilo M. Fuchs serves as Deputy Head of the Institute of Molecular Pathogenesis (IMP) at the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI) and leads the Working Group on Pathobiology of Mycobacterioses. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Technical University of Munich.

• Education: Dr. rer. nat. habil. (Habilitation in Natural Sciences), Dipl.-Biol. (Graduate Biologist)
• Research Focus: Molecular mechanisms of mycobacterial infections, pathogenesis, and host-pathogen interactions.
• Committee Roles: Member of the BfR Commission for Biological Hazards and Hygiene, Associate Editor of BMC Genomics.
