Thierry Gidel

Thierry Gidel is an Associate Professor at the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC), affiliated with the Department of Technology and Human Sciences (TSH). He leads research in project management, collaborative design, and digital innovation. His current roles include directing the Halle Numérique research platform and heading the CRI team at the COSTECH laboratory. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and is an IRCA-certified auditor with extensive industry experience.

Research Interests: Collaborative workspaces, digital tools for innovation, risk management in projects, sustainable innovation models, and interactive technologies for design processes.

• Halle Numérique (2015–2016): Deployed interactive digital spaces for pedagogical and design applications.
