Theron Quist is a Professor and Chair of the Sociology Department at Baldwin Wallace University, where he also serves as Assistant Director of the Criminal Justice Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Arizona, an M.S. and B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University, and can be contacted at (440) 826-8545.
His research explores critical issues in sociology and criminology, including:
- The intersection of crime and homelessness dynamics
- Behavioral patterns in stalking and digital deviance
- Theoretical frameworks for understanding criminal behavior
- Societal impacts of internet-related misconduct
He teaches courses spanning foundational to advanced topics in sociology and justice systems, including Criminology, Social Problems, Juvenile Delinquency, and specialized seminars. As an active researcher, he maintains memberships in the American Sociological Association, American Society of Criminology, and North Central Sociological Association.
