Theron Carmichael is an NSF MPS-Ascend Postdoctoral Fellow affiliated with the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. His research focuses on transiting brown dwarfs and eclipsing low-mass stars from NASA’s TESS mission, and he co-chairs the Transiting Brown Dwarf working group under the TESS Follow-up Program. He earned his Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Harvard University in 2021.
