Her doctoral project, "Saxon Annalistics of the High Middle Ages. Interdependencies – Editorial Desiderata – Source Value," explores the source value of compiled medieval works like the Paderborn Annals and Annales Ilsineburgenses. She investigates how dependencies between primary and secondary sources can reconstruct lost texts and inform editorial projects within the Monumenta Germaniae Historica (MGH) program.
As an Arno Borst Fellow at the MGH in Munich since 2022, she contributes to advancing historical source analysis. Her academic background includes a Master's in Medieval History and Latin Philology from Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, where she also worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Medieval History and Basic Historical Sciences (2019–2020) and previously in medical history (2014–2019) and university archives (2016).
