Theresa Ricke-Kiely is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona's School of Government and Public Policy, specializing in Public Administration/Public Management. Her research focuses on nonprofit leadership, mergers, and mindfulness. She holds an EdD in Organizational Leadership from the University of Sarasota, an MPA from Marist College, and a BA from SUNY New Paltz.
Her teaching emphasizes leadership, nonprofit management, and public organizational theory. She has published in journals like the International Journal of Public Leadership and is the book review editor for the Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership. Her 2024 book, *The Path to Mindful Leadership: Practices for Nonprofit Success*, highlights mindful leadership strategies. She is also a leadership coach and consultant for nonprofits, focusing on executive, board, and mindful leadership.
Dr. Ricke-Kiely previously worked at the University of St. Thomas, University of Notre Dame, and University of South Carolina. She co-edits a special issue on nonprofit leadership in the Journal of Ideology and contributes to peer review for leadership journals.
